Dr Mat Daniel
Mat is a consultant Children’s Ear Nose & Throat Surgeon in the NHS, a medical educator, and a coach specialising in helping doctors have successful and thriving careers. His healthcare career spans 28 years. He has a PhD, a Masters in Medical Education, and is a qualified coach. He has been a Training Programme Director and assessor at national selection, and is currently a clinical supervisor, appraiser, and the undergraduate ENT lead at his local University. He undertakes research, collaborates with private sector, and edits for a medical journal. He has been awarded research grants, won prizes, and been nominated in recognition of his leadership. His clinical practice is devoted to the care of children with ENT problems, whilst his non-clinical work is a series of small steps aligned with a life-mission to make the world a better place.
